The slim lean and toned look is where it's at, but knowing that doesn't seem to be making it any easier. The question of how to make your body slim is causing many a sleepless night as we try diet solutions and every workout program under the sun.

Nowadays people describe me as naturally slim. They didn't before I learned the habits that helped me drop 40lbs! Here they are:

1) Realise you don't need to work so hard

Everywhere we look it seems we are told to work our behinds off. The more it hurts the better it must be right? Actually, that's wrong and it's one of the reasons why 95% of dieters regain the weight back. It's also the reason why many people never even get started in the first place.

You see any regime that is about killing yourself is a routine you can't keep up. Don't just get slim, stay slim! To do that you need to learn the ways and means that will serve you today and tomorrow.....all your tomorrows.

2) Habits are your how to

If you want to know how to become slim the simple answer is to do what a slim person does. What this means is to take on the habits that will do the job. The great thing about habits is that all the work is at the front end. Once you have installed them, they are yours to keep for as long as you want, which means you will be on autopilot to lean and toned land.

3) The foundation; eat less and move more

That is it in a nutshell, and it's the foundation of your how to become slim habits. The key is to find the combination that works for you. There are lots of ways but some will be a lot more suited to your personality, lifestyle and the time you have than others, so choose and use those ones. You can become slim your way on your terms, without spending your life in the gym or committed to the kitchen.

Health and fitness should fit you and if not then you really are missing a trick. The good news is it's not so complicated, and once you learn how to apply a few principles the rules will be yours to make.
