You Are Not Doomed To Be Fat Forever

If you have been trying different diet plans to lose weight without success, you might be thinking that you are doomed to be fat forever. However, this is certainly not the case. Like most people today, you are focusing on dieting instead of learning how to eat intuitively. If you want to live a healthy lifestyle without obsessing about food, intuitive eating and undieting will be the solution.

In today's society, most young women believe that dieting, exercise and body image are important for them to have self-esteem. Generally, dieting and negative body image go hand in hand. Unfortunately, dieting will not help someone to accept their body even if they are able to achieve their weight loss goals. This is just one of the reasons why you should avoid diets.

Besides that, dieting will help to compromise your health. When you are on a diet, you will have strong urges to eat lots of high calorie foods. This is because the dieting will prepare your body for increase food intake and burn off less energy.

Today, many websites as well as health and fitness magazines will give recommendations about the foods that you should eat for weight loss. Undieting involves the opposite approach because you don't have to stick to a listing of foods or give up anything. In addition, there is no need for you to count calories. Essentially, undieting will help you to feel better and much lighter as the days go by.

In a similar fashion, the approach for intuitive eating is different from dieting. When you are eating intuitively, you will learn how to listen to your body and make the right food choices. Intuitive eating is actually a nutrition philosophy that is based on the foundation of becoming attuned to the natural hunger signals that is sent to the body.

Just like the undieting approach, intuitive eating is far more effective when it comes to achieving a healthy body weight instead of monitoring fats and calories. The main aim is to create a healthier relationship with body, mind and food. For this reason, it's one of the common ways to treat persons with disordered eating habits. Intuitive eating, like other dieting approach has many names including conscious eating, the non-diet or non-dieting approach, normal eating and more.

Hopefully, the information above will help you to understand that you don't have to diet to achieve your weight loss goals. Undieting and intuitive eating will help you to maintain good health and well-being.
