The good news is that water does not contain any calories. You can drink as much as you like. When you are drinking a lot of water, you will notice that you are feeling less hungry. Water also makes us full. In order to achieve our target of drinking eight glasses of water a day, is to buy a jug that can hold eight glasses of water. After filling up the jug with water, freeze it. Take out the jug and leave it at room temperature. As it melts throughout the day, you can have cold and fresh water to drink. Or if you like your water at room temperature, you can drink it that way as well.

If you are feeling hungry, always try drinking a glass of water first. You might find out that actually you are thirsty and not hungry after all.

2. Cut down on caffeine drinks.

Cut down your caffeine drinks as it dehydrates you. Starting you day with a glass of water is good habit. As soon as you get up, drink a glass of fresh and clean water. Our bodies have gone through about six to eight hours of dehydration during sleeping. It will prepare our bodies to get going for the day and not be fighting dehydration. Also you won't be eating a big breakfast as you would be feeling full.

3. Drink a glass of water before foods.

Always, always drink a glass of water before breakfast, lunch and dinner. Water makes you feel full and you will be eating less.

4. Take a walk everywhere

Set aside time for walks every day. After it becomes a routine, you can always increase it to a run or a brisk walk.
